From the first century A.D to the modern day, from Israel to Italy, Realm of the Unknown is a rollercoaster of a story It also has its ups and downs as a reading experience. For the most part, James McPike has crafted a fast paced, intricate story here Hearkening back to The Da Vinci Code though thankfully better , we find a tale in these pages that touches on Biblical history, freemasons, the Knights Templar and brings it all into the modern day with an unexplained massacre in Masada With elemen [...]

In the Realm of the Unknown, James McPike takes us on a mystery of murder with supernatural leanings Outside of Masada something unexplainable has happened Multiple people were murdered in a seemingly ritualistic way that is beyond anything a man could be accused of as the victims were torn apart by something defying human strength Not only that but they were burned and the only clue is a hand print that was also burned into the ground, a hand print that had talons.A ritual investigator for the [...]
The Realm of the Unknown by James B McPike was quite an interesting read McPike truly delivers a wonderful story that grasped me from the get go It is a religious, science fiction, mystery, thriller that will have you enthralled from page one While this is a fictional novel it has some basis of biblical proportion and archaeological history in this sense I believe McPike truly made the novel even better Based in Israel mostly with trips to Italy and Pris, we follow an investigator for the minist [...]
Readers that liked The DaVinci Code will love Realm of the Unknown by James B McPike I was hooked on this book from the first page While the book is not necessarily centered on the Church itself, it does deal with a religious artifact This book if full throttle action, starting with a town getting massacred to the very end where the whole world is in danger I love a book that keeps you guessing to the end I had a suspicion on who the killer was, but was still surprised at the end The close calls [...]
ExcitingExciting but strange Not my usual kind of book but I did enjoy it Good vs evil I ll read the next book in this series.
Storyline was okay but the writing was simplistic and the ending kind of abrupt I expected a little than just hey, lets go on vacation now There were good moments of suspense and struggle but in general it was just an okay story.
