I enjoyed this a lot First let me be shallow and say that the guy in the cover is super dreamy But as an MC of this book he was driving me nuts with his paranoia and lack of trust This was a great second chance story with an interracial couple that didn t enjoy penetrative sex It s a weird thing to mention in a review but it is so rare to find in a book that I figured I would mention it.

what can I say, other then More than Love was such a wonderful book. There are two main characters in this book Dan and Ian They went to college together and had a short relationship before Ian moved three states away after finishing school Dan went on to become a cop After years apart and keeping touch through Facebook, Ian is moving back to town Dan and Ian start to get to know one another again and both still have feelings for one another so they start a relationship.Everything is good between [...]
Sooooo I m in love with that man cover.Yes, that s the only reason I want to read this book.Don t judge He s pretty ok Please don t be wildy racist or just plain creepy and weird about his skin color
I think the last line of the blurb for this books speaks absolute volumes about the story Dan and Ian had a short love affair in college that ended when Ian took a job in Chicago and moved to take it Dan felt abandoned and vulnerable especially as he was still closeted Still, he never forgot Ian and the closeness they shared.Fifteen years pass Dan is a police sergeant in the same town where he grew up He s out, and lonely He s had some rather serious relationships over the years, but none quite [...]
4.5 Stars copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie by the author publisher in exchange for an honest review Dan and Ian dated in college, but while Dan was closeted, Ian was openly gay Ian left and moved to Chicago, three states away for a job after college Now that Ian has returned can they pick up where they left off I adored this book It was sweet, sexy and had a little mystery and angst that kept me turning the pages It had a very good balance between their romance and the mystery portion of the s [...]
4.5 StarsThis book was amazing, but I expect nothing less from Amelia Bishop She is an extremely talented writer that enables you to just read and you become so involved in the story that you just have to continue reading In this book we meet Dan and Ian who in the beginning you just might think they don t belong together Then the story really kicks in and you realize that these two men are made for each other Amelia Bishop just draws you in and you don t want to stop reading until you finish bu [...]
Ian and Dan were cute together Some of their dialogue made me laugh so hard I loved them Dan was a bit of a neurotic mess at times, but he was refreshingly self aware Totally enjoyed this though i would have loved two grown men to progress past frottage after being in a relationship for a bit, especially with this being their second go round I know there are many gay men who don t enjoy penetration include it in their sex lives, but eh Penetration reads so much better.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Inked Rainbow Reads Review Team 3 stars for this M MThis book was just ok for me, nothing exciting Not much happens half way through the book and then it wasn t even really much While you could feel the connection between the two characters and they were both written really well, I just couldn t get excited about the story The jumping from past to present also wasn t my cup of tea either.
I enjoyed the story The jumping from past to present jarred me a little, but I kept reading because I wanted these guys to get their hea Wonderful job
Be back soon 31%.I was bored to tears right after the beginning.
FOUR STAR REVIEW Provided by Author in Exchange for an Honest Review Judging a Book by it s Cover Half portrait of a shirtless male Plain dark background Elementary font title Does not stand out to catch the eye as well as it could have with a splash of color The synopsis sounds like a good mixture of excitement and second chances.Looking Deeper Note Although not noted, this IS an interracial gay romance If that is not something that you are interested in, you may want to look for a different bo [...]
I thought the book as a while was good The characters were good, the writing well done This is a story About a second chance romance for 2 guys who meet in college.Dan is deeply in the closet afraid of what his father will think and Ian out and proud They have a growing connection during one of their study sessions so Dan makes the first move.Since Dan is so freaked out about his father finding out they basically keep their relationship ship to an old shed on campus. But before graduation Ian tak [...]
Second Chance for Love After sharing sexy times together in college, Ian and Dan went in different directions Now a police officer, Dan is thrilled when Ian moves back to town and wants to pursue a relationship, but Ian s deliberate vagueness about his business dealings leaves Dan wondering about Ian s honesty Is their second chance doomed before it really gets started This was a story with a great premise, one that left even me wondering if Ian was guilty of the crime spree I figured he had to [...]
Dan and Ian met in college and had a steamy relationship that ended when Ian accepted a job in another state Eighteen years later, Ian is headed home and Dan wonders if they can pick up where they left off.I enjoyed how this story went back and forth from present to past It have the reader the necessary details of the past as them became relevant to the present Both Ian and Dan are likable characters and Dan s family is wonderful. What I didn t like I thought Dan s skepticism and doubt of Ian thr [...]
